La Pacita in Canada

My son Tim, found out that the Prima Toast that he loves is manufactured in the Philippines. So I sang/ told him a commercial jingle I co-wrote with my aunt sometime in 1991. This was aired over the radio, sang by famous rapper Francis Magalona. This is how it goes...

My eight year old daughter and I were watching the show "Biggest Loser" last night. It is a reality show where "overweight" people exercise with a trainer between 4-5 hours a day with 24 hour television coverage.

One of the contestants said that she realized she needed to loose weight when she learned that her daughter would not eat or drink because she does not want to get fat like her mother.

So as a joke, I told her "Do you want me to join that show so I'll be sexy again?" without hesitation she said "No"...You're the best as you can be...I love you just the way you are!

How wonderful our world would be if we can always think like 8 year olds do
